What's included?
Party within a session
- Branded party invitations
- Entry for one child and an accompanying adult for the 90-minute session
- A selection of party snacks including sandwiches, pizza, crisps. pasta, vegetables and jugs of cordial for the children
- Table balloons and reserved seats
- One free entry per birthday party
- Approval to bring a cake, only allowed

Exclusive
hire
A minimum of 30 children in the party at £17 each will give you exclusive hire if requested.
Alternatively, you can bring less and have the session exclusive for a fee of £490 peak.
The booking process
All parties are booked with a member of the team either at the venue or over email/telephone to ensure a personal service.
- If you have any questions before or after booking, please get in touch and we will happily assist you.
- A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to reserve, final guest numbers and the balance is due two weeks prior to the date of the party.
- If you have any special dietary requirements, let us know and we can make sure these are planned for.
How it works on the day
Having served many parties, we have found that this is what works best!:
- Party families can arrive around 15 minutes prior to the session to welcome guests.
- We always ask the party parents if they are bringing a cake if they want us to bring it out with candles and sing ‘Happy Birthday’. We can also cut the cake if you want it serving or wrap for takeaway if you have cake bags/boxes.
- We find serving the food in the middle of session, after blowing out the candles, works best as the children get to play first, eat and return for some more playing after! We can get your cake cut for your guests on exit.
- We will try to accommodate any reasonable requests for changes in running order and any special dietary requirements, after all it’s a special day for you.
- Once you have booked a party, if you have any questions give us a call and we can make a note of anything additional.
Terms and conditions for party hire
- All children are to be supervised by their parent/guardian/carer during their time at Play Avenue. We ask that you observe the rules of play which are displayed throughout the centre. This ensures safety and enjoyment for all.
- There is no age limit, but we suggest that a group over the age of 6 would only be suitable for an exclusive hire – please contact us for help on this one.
- Shoes are not permitted in the play area so we ask that socks are always worn, this includes parents. A small supply of socks are available for a small fee.
